Visit our Get Started page here. Complete the simple form - telling us your cooking preference and the number of servings, then sign up with one of your social accounts.
Login to your account, go to the settings page and click on the Delete My Account option. Select the reason why you are looking to delete your account, press the Submit button and your account will be deleted within 5 working days.
If you signed up with Google - visit their 'Third-party apps & services' page here, find the entry for 'Meal Pixy' and select the option to 'Delete all connections...'. If you signed up with Facebook visit their 'Settings & privacy' page here, under 'Your activity' select the 'Apps and websites' option, find the entry for 'Meal Pixy' and click the 'Remove' button.
Meal Planning
From the home page click the 'Create a new plan' button / 'View the plan' button (if you've already started a plan) - or click on the 'Meal Plans' link, then under the 'Your Meal Plans' page click on the 'Create a plan' button. Then follow the instructions to create your plan.
Either delete or mark all recipes in the plan as 'Made' and the plan will no longer show up on the Meal Pixy home page or under the 'Meal Plans' home. To delete or mark a recipe as 'Made' - first click on the recipe image or title under the 'Your plan' section, then click either the 'Mark as 'made'' option, or select the toggle next to 'Delete' and press the 'Save' button.
From the home page click the button to 'View your plan', or under the 'Meal Plans' link, click the 'View your plan' button. If you haven't yet created a plan then this button wont show up - and you'll need to click on the 'Create a plan' button to create a new plan.
Click the button to 'Create a plan', or if you've already started a Plan click then 'Continue' or 'View your plan' button. Follow the wizard screens, then under the 'Add Method' or 'Add More' screens click on the 'Batch cook' option. Firstly select a 'batch base' recipe then click the 'Next' button. Then select a minimum of 2 recipes to make with the batch base - and select the 'Next' button. Your recipes are added to the plan and you can continue to finish the plan as normal to confirm it and then to create a shopping list.
Shopping Lists
Shopping lists are all created from a Plan. So you'll first need to create a plan either from the home page using the 'Create a new plan' button, or from the 'Meal Plans' page. Follow the wizard to create your plan and once you've confirmed your plan, under the 'Confirm Plan' page and then removed any items from the ingredients list that you already have in your 'Pantry' your shopping list will be created.
You can use one of the following methods to view your shopping lists:
Go to the shopping list that you'd like to add your own items to - then under the text entry field at the top of the list enter the title for the item that you're adding into the list, then click the 'Add' button. The items you add will appear at the top of the list under the 'Your Items' heading.
Click the item/s that you'd like to remove, then scroll down to the end of the shopping list and click on the 'Remove Selected Ingredients From List' / 'Remove Selected' button. The selected items will then immediately disappear from your list.
Pantry
Click on the 'Pantry' link. In the 'Add ingredients to your Pantry...' text entry field at the top of the page start entering the name / title of the ingredient that you'd like to add to your Pantry. Suggestions will appear under the field, click the ingredient to add it to your Pantry. If the ingredient is already in your Pantry it won't show up in the list of suggestions.
Click on the 'Pantry' link. From your Pantry list - click the ingredient/s that you'd like to remove, then scroll down to the end of the Pantry list and click on the 'Remove Selected Items' button. The selected ingredients will then immediately disappear from your Pantry.
For the system to generate you some recipes that you can make with items in your Pantry you'll need to add a minimum of 3 ingredients to it. You can then use one of the following methods to see all of the recipes you can make with the items that are in your pantry:

Click the 'Cog' icon to go into your Settings. Click the 'Recipe Preferences' option. Make the changes you would like to make for: your required default number of servings per meal and / or whether you prefer to cook using an Oven or an Air Fryer. Then click the 'Save Changes' button to save your changes.
Click the 'Cog' icon to go into your Settings. Click the 'Favourite Cuisines' option. Tick or untick cuisine categories as appropriate. Then click the 'Save Changes' button to save your changes.
Recipes will only have a way to switch between oven and air fryer if the recipe requires the use of an oven or air fryer. For example a recipe that only required a hob would not have the switch options. For all appropriate recipes look under the Method and Equipment tabs. To the right of the title will be a switch to air fryer / switch to oven link. Click the link to switch methods. The 'Start to Table' time at the top right of the recipe will update according to the equipment selected.
Preferences
Click the 'Cog' icon to go into your Settings. Click the 'Preferred Supermarket' option. Click into the drop down to open it, then select your preferred supermarket. Click the 'Save Changes' button to save your changes.
